I recently had the pleasure of visiting Woolwich Gardens Assisted Living, where my 97-year-old mother, Anna Mercuri, resides, and I cannot express how wonderful her experience has been. From the moment you walk in, the cleanliness of the facility is immediately noticeable, creating a welcoming and safe environment for residents.
The staff at Woolwich Gardens is nothing short of exceptional. The aides and nurses provide attentive care, ensuring that each resident's needs are met with kindness and professionalism. It's heartwarming to see them interact with my mother, as they genuinely care about her well-being and happiness.
The atmosphere is beautiful and serene, with lovely common areas where residents can relax and socialize. Woolwich Gardens prioritizes not just the physical health of its residents, but also their emotional and social wellbeing. My mother feels at home here, and I couldn’t be happier knowing she is in such good hands.
I highly recommend Woolwich Gardens to anyone seeking a loving and supportive assisted living environment. The combination of competent, friendly staff and a beautiful setting makes it an ideal choice for families wishing the best for their loved ones. My mom turned 97 this year and although in good shape she needed daily stimulation, friendship, activities and a certain level of care. Boy did I find the right place!! Woolwich gardens is the place to be!! The staff is wonderful all the aids are very caring and get to know your family member very closely. The activity directors are like nothing I ever expected. They keep the residence busy from the minute they wake up until they all go to sleep at night. When I say activities I’m talking about live music, trips to churches to meet Santa, live Polynesian dancers. High school Choirs  and a carnival that rivals any carnival I’ve ever seen anywhere.  They had games , a clown making animal balloons, prizes, a piñata and for extra fun 2 brave staff members let the residence throw a pie in their faces. All complete with a full carnival lunch that included corn dogs and funnel cakes.  Did I mention the care from all the nurses? They are on top of it. I don’t have to worry about my mom’s care or daily activities. Woolwich gardens should be the Gold Standard across the country on how to take care of our Seniors. It’s truly a blessing.

My father has been in a wheelchair for twenty-two years and the last nine residing in an assisted living facility over in Pennsylvania. We stumbled onto Woolwich Gardens and it’s been a blessing!! They definitely embrace an “all hands on deck” approach and everyone goes above and beyond! His care has been top notch and the culture among the staff members is fantastic!
